Debbie brings over 3o years of accounting experience (and a Summa Cum Laude degree in Economics and Management from Baylor!) to her role as Business Manager at St.Andrew’s. She keeps our financials in tip-top shape—but even more, she’s passionate about showing that generosity and service are at the heart of Christian life.
Debbie and her husband, Scott, married in 1992, joined SAUMC in 2005, and are proud parents of Krystyne and Ryan—and grandparents to Lorelei and Caroline. Their family also includes a purring white cat named Caspurr, adopted on Halloween and named after the friendly ghost!
Her dad’s advice still sticks with her: “Don’t worry. This too shall pass.”
And her favorite scripture is Romans 8:28: “For all things work together for good, for those who love God and are called according to His purpose.”
If Debbie had a hype song, it would be “It’s Alright to be Little Bitty” by Alan
Jackson—because it’s just that good. (And, Debbie exemplifies Shakespeare’s famous line: “though she be little, she is fierce!”)
Debbie’s love, grace, kindness, and care bless St. Andrew’s—just ask anyone who’s
had a conversation with her!
