Mobile Food pantry
Every 2nd Saturday of the month, SAUMC hosts a Mobile Food Pantry in our parking lot. We distribute fresh produce, meats, and staple food provided by Tarrant Area Food Bank to the low income families in our area.
It starts at 9 AM and lasts until the food runs out. No ID or proof of residency required.
New Day Ministry
NEW DAY feeds children in Arlington with the school district as a partner. They work directly with school counselors to find the students who are either hungry or may not have a consistent stream of nutritious food available to them. Counselors identify these kids and contact NEW DAY for the delivery of bags of food on Fridays. The bags are discreetly distributed to students by the counselors.
Saint Andrew's works with New Day by providing volunteers to pack the bags of food for the students. It's a great way to help our community!
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. We believe affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities.
Saint Andrew's members help by providing funding and volunteers to go build the houses!
